Enormous fish like a record 1780-pound tiger shark and an enormous 98-pound tarpon were once snagged here. The incredibly popular North Myrtle Beach Pier also has a full service tackle and bait shop, a gift shop, and a two-story observation deck in addition to 985 feet of pier from which visitors can fish.
